this place is legit. first timer and went with two specials on the menu. but honestly i think would have been difficult to go wrong at this place. i decided against a beverage aside from water but they seemed to have authentic Greek wines and they made some fresh sangria for one the tables near me which looked delicious i started with the stuffed calamari GRILLED not fried that was really a nice touch . the oil and fresh ingredients stuffed in the fish made for a great start to the meal. for my main dish I went with the filet mignon skewer with onions peppers and BOY i did NOT regret it … I mean look at that presentation. the tzatziki was lights out and i had plenty left over for a little second snack later . for dessert i ordered a cheesecake baklava that i can’t wait to try . the staff was very attentive and i believe i chatted with the owner who was also very personable and welcoming . Javier my waiter was superb . awesome experience that I encourage all to try for any occasion!!

My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner yesterday. The employees were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The restaurant looks great, tables set, sunshine lit the dining area perfectly. We ordered the Shrimp Bisque as a starter. Then the Zucchini with Tzatziki sauce, and the Red Snapper with two sides (sauteed spinach, lemon potatoes). As we waited for our meal we were presented with fresh grilled seasoned pita, and some dipping olive oil. The pita and oil served as a very good beginning to our meal. The Shrimp Bisque and Fried Zucchini were both excellent. When the Red Snapper was presented, I git the sense that they had difficulty in the deboning area. The Snapper and two sides were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Unfortunately, I encountered quite a few bones (8) and even some scales (3). This brings my review down to a 4 out of five. The sloppy deboning made the dish quite difficult to eat. As fans of Mediterranean food, we would probably return - but steer clear of the seafood.

This was my first time dining at Anasa's. The staff of super attentive. For appetizer, I enjoyed the falafel and humus with pita triangles; it was good. For main course I had a lamb skewer with salad, lemon potatoes, pita, and zazitki sauce. The lamb was too hard for my taste; it was somewhat difficult to get it off the wooden stick. I really liked the lemon potatoes, as they were tangy! Everything else was to my liking. Desert was interesting, i enjoyed it. I will be returning to try other dishes. Ah, almost forgot to mention that the Cabernet sauvignon was quite strong, I loved it!! The final price was high for one person, but everything is high due to... you know what!!

Excellent experience at Anasa Greek Kitchen. The food was authentic and well executed, especially the grilled octopus and stuffed lamb chops. Fresh ingredients, strong flavors, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. A standout Greek restaurant in White Plains.

It was a casual night for me and my mom when we decided to go to Anasa first time. Food was excellent! Everyone was very nice and attentive. They were also getting ready for their staff party at the restaurant but they didn’t shorten any one of the attention. We ordered dips sampler, Greek salad and Filet mignon kebabs. Very yummy! Beef was very tender and juicy. Salad was very well dressed. I wish I had room for some dessert. I’m not sure how busy the place gets however the parking is only o ln the street. I could see that getting challenging certain times. But wasn’t an issue for us.
